Field notes
- Seattle 2600 met at 3131 Western Ave from June to August 2026 and returned to 800 E Thomas St in September 2026. Its website names Gearhouse Coffee and its Meetup page names Base Camp; both give the same street address. The older site wa2600.org still gives Cafe Allegro in the University District; use sea2600.net or the Meetup page.
- OWASP Seattle's regular meetings are on Zoom. Its most recent in-person event was on August 21, 2025.
- SeaSec East says it meets on the first Wednesday, but its April, July and August 2026 meetings were on the second Wednesday. Check the Meetup event for the date and venue.
- ISSA Rainier says it meets on the fourth Thursday of every other month, but its 2025 and 2026 meetings fell on the last Thursday (for example April 30, 2026). No October 2026 date was posted on September 24, 2026.
- For the ISSA Puget Sound meeting on October 15, 2026, the chapter website gives a 5:30 p.m. start; the registration page gives 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Student clubs (Batman's Kitchen at UW Seattle, GrayHats at UW Bothell) meet during the academic year and are for enrolled students.
- Washington State InfraGard alternates members-only programs with occasional public meetings. Membership is free but requires FBI vetting.
- Several Eastside groups (SeaSec East, Black Lodge Research, Seattle Data, AI & Security) and most association chapters meet in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland or Mercer Island rather than in Seattle itself.
